Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Passiflora tetrandra
NZ Kohia makes for a great fence cover, watch out for the wetas though - bit like a magnet for them. Seems to flower on the East side, and stick it's roots down on the west side of the fence (I'm on the west side much to my neighbour Matt's delight!)
