Xeronema with Coprosma acerosa growing around it. Not the time of year for spectacular flower spikes, but these leaf blades gave a fine sculptural effect instead.

This Senecio was flowering prolifically in the Pureora region at the end of November. As it is uncommon now in the Auckland region, seeing it in the distance, we initially dismissed it as ragwort! Shame!
