Summer planting
Contrary to popular opinion, summer planting is fine as long as adequate water is provided throughout any prolonged dry periods. This allows you to take advantage of increased summer growth.

Height: 8m;  Spread: 3m
Cabbage Tree (Tree)
A classic New Zealand icon with single stem and round head. Clusters of scented flowers (spring). Best planted at the back of a shrubbery to limit spread of old leaves.
