Thanks Bernhard, This photo is a good example of a Sophora in flower, but I suspect it is not a New Zealand native. Certainly it does not appear to be Sophora microphylla based on the leaf size, and the flower does not look quite right for Sophora tetraptera which is our largest leaved species. We appreciate your submitting it. Geoff Davidson
