Nertera dichondraefolia
On a site near Woodhill at the edge of a raupo wetland with a manuka buffer. If you disagree with the classification let me know as there is some variation of opinion out there on these!

Hi Karen, Thanks for asking. While it is always difficult to I.D. a plant from a photo I think you are right. Nertera dichondrifolia (A.Cunn.) Hook.f. is a slender plant of northern North Island forests (mostly north of 38°S) with the leaves apiculate and the hairs sparse and curved. Nertera villosa is the most likely alternative and it is more common further south. It also has straight, not curved hairs and lots of them. We only have Nertera balfouriana and N.scapanioides at the moment.
